Since the establishment of the Business Chinese Department in 1987, the aim of the Department is to provide students with Chinese Proficiency, business knowledge, and skills plus English Competency. Fully equipped with the necessary tools for the modern globalized era, our graduates can serve and grow in all business fields of both government and private sectors (Marketing, management, Finance and Banking, International Business Management, Industrial management, Property Development, etc.).

Teaching and learning activities fully equipped with the professional skills for successful careers, focusing on listening, speaking, reading and writing skill. The developing knowledge work skills in hospitality, tourism, service industries, translation and interpreting courses are offered as well. There are exchange programs with the prestigious universities in China such as BLCU (Chinese Language and Culture University), Xiamen University, Heilongjiang International University. Our students can read and write both Traditional and Simplified Chinese. Moreover, there are internships with leading organizations and companies in Thailand. Our graduates can serve and grow in all business fields of both government and private sectors In addition, Confucius Institute at Assumption University offers free Chinese language and Culture courses for AU students, staffs and Faculty members.
